Someone asked me, are these my friends. Well I have to tell you that some of my customers have become friends. I mean how many handymen do you know, that when they have a date with a woman, that they can call A CUSTOMER who has offered to lend them their cars, do. I have to say most of my customers are quite impressed with me. But 99% of them are not my friends, they are just very happy customers. And here are just a few of them.
You see, anybody can write a letter and stick it on-line but not many can put actual customers there. I carry around a video camera some days as ask customers if they don't mind doing a video reference.( I have hundreds of them) To me, that has value. At some customers places I am there for an hour and others for a month. Good service, knowledgeable about what I do and what not to touch keeps them coming back. I am in business to serve my customers.

Built a sound proof barrier between his house and the house next door because his neighbour put in a large air-conditioned and was making a lot of noise and my client could not sit in his garden and enjoy it. I researched it and with the permission of his neighbour make a sound proof booth for the air conditioner. It works a like a barrier on the 401 TOP that !!! Holmes. |

Customer called about doing a bunch of little things in her house and she kept running around to find more things to do and when I was done she was very happy. |

Scarborough. Repaired a 200-year old cabinet which hinges had come out and no way for the same screws to go back. I put in some slightly larger screws and adjusted the cabinet door and when I was done it worked perfectly |

St. Clair and Yonge. The customer had a rotten deck and thought the whole thing had to be replaced but what we did instead was cut off all the rotten wood and made a new deck out of the old deck. Customer was very happy. |

This customer would only hire me when her husband went out of town. She had everything fixed while he was away because she got tired of asking him over and over again. She just gave up. She booked me online and I took care of everything. Her kids helped out and even went out as Les the Handyman for Halloween. |

I worked for this man for twenty-two years. He gave me a clock to repair once because nobody else could. It worked on a magnetic principal and I don't know how I fixed it. However, it worked for another eleven years. |

Wanted to work together with me in hopes of learning something. WE had to jack up his garage, put new material along the base of it and set it back onto a trench of crushed stone. I told him it would settle a bit but we made a very cool place within his garage where he could jack it up himself and make whatever adjustments he needs to. He was very, very happy. |

I worked for these people seven years ago and they were very happy and couldn't find my phone number (God, how is that possible). They hired someone else who made quite a lot of mistakes. Finally, they had found my number and I fixed all his mistakes. Now I have over twenty video referrals from these two for different projects around their house. |

Eighteen Years and Still Level A very picky customer called me because he had visions of the perfect flower-box. He wanted me to build him a very simple box but I told he that we had to build it on crushed stone. He was reluctant to do it properly but I insisted that if he wanted a quality job, we had to do it. I went to his house a few weeks ago just to see how those flower-boxes were holding up and now you see the result. Anybody can build anything but it is only after ten years you see what you paid for. |

These are regular customers of mine and after they hired some other trades people, because they couldn't find my number, I ended up fixed a ton of stuff for them. I've seen some amazing things that trades people have done in some houses but this one was lots of fun to figure out. |

A Good Laugh He was very happy that I kept him entertain the whole time I was doing his list. He had twenty-two items on his list and I was able to fix twenty of them. |

Less Stress and Mess When You Hire Les I was a little shocked when I heard that one of their kids wanted to dress up as Les the Handyman for Halloween. So far I have eleven kids and seven adults as Les the Handyman. I've never heard of such of this in my life but it's nice to be admired and appreciated. |

This is one of my funniest customers and though I've done many things at his house, I am flattered that I get asked over for dinner after I finish the work. |

Even the Cashman Needs a Handyman Oliver the Cashman called me one day. At first I thought it was a joke but it turns out that he really needed a handyman. And though it wasn't a very big job, he was very happy that he was being taken care of. Unfortunately the reference was cut off, but at least he's pointing to my Les the Handyman fliers. |

Doug is one funny guy. He usually can do most things himself. He lives right across the street from me and he is quite capable. But building a skating rink is quite an undertaking especially when it spans two backyards. |
Your booking system and software saves people lots of time, so they can do the things they really want to do. My book also describes other ways for people to save more time.
